Amazon has made the decision to close its Pick Up Point located in the Campus Center on May 15. This follows Amazon’s decision to end textbook sourcing for the campus last year. Orders from Amazon will be delivered to campus through Amazon’s normal delivery methods.

Beginning in the summer of 2018, eCampus, one of the nation’s largest online textbook retailers, took over the textbook and course materials operation with its virtual bookstore. The service, which is integrated with SPIRE, the university’s online student information system, offers new, used, rental and digital materials and buy-back options.

eCampus provides two pick-up points for textbook and other course material delivery at the start of each semester – one in the Campus Center and one in Hampden in the Southwest Residential Area. The Campus Center Pick-up point will be open most of the year.

When purchasing course materials for the upcoming semester with eCampus@UMass, you will have the option to ship to pick up centers at Campus Center and Hampden. If you do not wish you ship to one of the pickup locations, you may enter any desired address.

Mail delivery to campus addresses will proceed as normal.
