Ali Awarded Goodeve Medal by Operational Research Society
Agha Iqbal Ali, the Karen and Chuck Peters Family Endowed Professor in the Isenberg School of Management, was awarded the 2018 Goodeve Medal by the Operational Research (OR) Society at the Royal Society in London recently.
The Goodeve Medal is awarded in recognition of an outstanding contribution to the philosophy, theory or practice of operational research published in the “Journal of the Operational Research Society”(JORS) or “OR Insight” (ORI) within the relevant year.
Ali was awarded the medal for his paper, co-authored with Ince Guven of Nature Source Genetics, “Distress among disaster-affected populations: delay in relief provision” published in the JORS.
