Support and Resources for All Affected by the Ukrainian Crisis

March 4, 2022 Community

Content

Blue and yellow Ukraine flag

Dear members of the CNS Community,

I am dismayed by the invasion of Ukraine by Russian forces and the senseless and unprovoked violence that continues. Though thousands of miles separate us from the horrendous events unfolding there, the attack on Ukrainian people and on democracy itself hits very close to home.

As Chancellor Subbaswamy mentioned in his message earlier this week, the University has been in contact with those in our community with direct ties to Ukraine. I join him here in committing the College of Natural Sciences to helping all students, faculty, and staff who are impacted by this conflict and connecting them with campus resources and services. Please contact me or members of my leadership team for any form of support that would be helpful to you.

In addition, we encourage all to utilize campus resources and support including:

  • Resources for students and scholars affected by the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
  • CNS and department advisors
  • Dean of Students Office: Single point of contact to connect you to with resources and referrals.
  • International Programs Office: Support for our international students and students whose families live abroad.

We stand in solidarity with the brave people of Ukraine in the struggle for democracy.
