The 2024 CNS Recognition Ceremony

On April 30, faculty and staff from the College of Natural Sciences assembled in the Campus Center Auditorium for the 2024 CNS Recognition Ceremony. During the event, nominees and recipients of the 2024 CNS Outstanding Achievement Awards were celebrated for their work. In addition, faculty who were promoted last year were recognized, and individuals who reached a milestone year of employment (20, 25, 30, 35, 40, or 45 years of service) at UMass Amherst in 2022-23 were asked to stand.
"These awards let us celebrate the great work being done in CNS by faculty, staff, and students," said Karen S. Helfer, PhD, CNS's Associate Dean for Graduate, Postdoctoral, and Faculty Development.

Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion Awards:
