- 1 SUSTCOMM honors course any level
- 1 SUSTCOMM honors course 300-level or higher

Notes:
- Re: 499Y: One option for the structure and content of 499Y might be the undergraduate participating actively in the graduate course in research methods, theory, or a graduate seminar linked to the proposed topic in 499P. The instructor of the course would likely serve as a member, if not Chair, of the 499Y course. Re: 499P: One option an undergraduate could pursue for added structure and support would be to affiliate with an advanced graduate studio or seminar, while working on 499P. The instructor would serve as the Chair of the project described in the 499P proposal.
- When offered, 1cr SUSTCOMM 291H, 391H and 491H seminars plus their pre-requisite non-honors root course are acceptable as DH electives.
