Program Requirements

  • 2 FOOD-SCI honors courses selected from FOOD-SCI 541, 561, 567,or 581 with affiliated honors colloq or Honors Independent Study attached*
  • Honors Thesis or Project. Options include:
    • Individually contracted: FOOD-SCI 499Y Honors Research and FOOD-SCI 499T Honors Thesis or 499P Honors Project

Notes:

  • One of these requirements may be replaced by a FD SCI 600-level course with approval of the Honors Program Director, noted on a CHC "Petition for Exception" form.
  • When offered, 1cr FD SCI 291H, 391H and 491H seminars plus their pre-requisite non-honors root course are acceptable as DH electives.
