The wellbeing living room is a chance to learn more about the UMass Okanagan Health Promoting University efforts, to engage in conversations about wellbeing, sign up for a connection challenge, and participate in a video testimonial booth. Members of the Okanagan Wellbeing Collective invite the campus community to engage in interactive opportunities for wellbeing, including marking a campus map with places and activities that support wellbeing, learning about and signing up for the 5 for 5 Connection Challenge, giving testimonials in a video booth about wellbeing, and enjoying tea and conversations in our wellbeing living room.

This event is being promoted as part of a series of Inauguration Weekend/Founders Day activities highlighting campus points of pride and building community.

Founders Day is an annual opportunity to reflect on the rich and storied history of UMass Amherst, take pride in its present standing, and look towards its future. In combination with the Inauguration of Chancellor Javier Reyes, this year’s festivities will be particularly impactful.
