You’re invited to take a walk through history with CWC as we celebrate 50 years of “Our Story.”
Our Story: CWC’s 50th Anniversary Celebration is a daylong event featuring an interactive exhibit, free food, guest speakers, awards highlighting the people who have been a part of our story, live performances, a silent auction, and more.

Event highlights include:
- Listen to acapella by UMass Note-orious and Drumming and guitar by Iréne “I-Shea” Shaikly
- Read historic poems from Audre Lorde, Margie Pierce, and others featured at the National Women’s Poetry Festival (1974).
- Make your own healed heart, protest button, or empowerment bracelet.
- Enter a raffle or bid in our silent auction.
- Learn how conversations around consent and violence prevention have evolved.
- Celebrate the recipients of the “Supporting Our Story” awards – including a founder of EWC/CWC.
- Watch videos of past Body Politics, PROPS, and other events.
- Add your artistic touch to a community Take Back the Night banner.
- Hear campus and community speakers.

Purchase from our Silent Auction This fundraiser features experiences, adventures, services, including a farm share from a local CSA, 3 months of life coaching, yoga classes, gift packages, and more. There is something for everyone! The auction will be available for preview starting Tuesday March 21st and will be open from Tuesday, March 28th at 10am through April 5th at 6pm.
