Open Forum: Classroom Equity Action Plans


                         

The Faculty Diversity Team, in collaboration with CTL, IDEAS and OAPA will host the first of two Spring 2024 Classroom Equity Action Plan Faculty Forums from 1-2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 27, in the Old Chapel on the 2nd floor in the Great Hall.

All UMass Amherst faculty members who are engaged in Classroom Equity Action Plan work are invited to the open forum and can drop in any time between 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. This is an opportunity to discuss activities implementing classroom equity actions, progress, satisfaction, and concerns, and to connect with others across campus who are engaged in this important work.

The CTL and the IDEAS Team  will be there to share information and resources, offer advice and answer questions about specific action items that you might have. Resources in the Teams Channel site will also be reviewed. The goal is to assist each faculty member, department, and college to improve equity, belonging, and connectedness in the classroom.
