LOSAR: Tibetan New Year Celebration


                         

The UMass Students for a Free Tibet is happy to organize the 2151Year of Wood Dragon Tibetan new year celebration on Sunday, March 3, 2024, at the UMass Campus Center Auditorium from 11am to 1pm. The event will showcase and provide an opportunity for the campus community members to join in the rich cultural celebration of LOSAR: Tibetan New Year with various fun activities, Tibetan song and dance performances by the Regional Tibetan Association of Massachusetts, and traditional Tibetan refreshments. The event is free and open to the public. Our goal is to bring members of the campus community, local Tibetan community, and the greater Amherst community together for a fun filled afternoon of building connections and deeper understanding.
