Lohri is the festival of harvest in Punjab,India. Over 3/4 of the population in Punjab are somehow employed in the agriculture industry, therefore farming and the harvest is extremely important to our people. We would like to host this Lohri event so that we can spread awareness about our club on campus and to the UMass community, spread awareness about this important festival, and celebrate this event with the community to wish for good food and a good harvest for all.
