Class of 2027 Tree Planting


                         

Join us for the class of 2027 tree planting! The class tree will be planted at 10:30 AM.  

Representatives from the arboretum committee will be in attendance starting at 9:30am. All are welcome to attend, but freshmen students from the class of 2027 are especially encouraged to come see their class tree be planted. The arboretum committee has recently committed to plant trees at the beginning of the freshman class's time at UMass Amherst in an effort to stimulate greater connection from students to the arboretum. 

Students are encouraged to reflect on how this tree will grow in the next four years, and how they will grow with it. Class of 2027 - come take a photo with this tree, make a wish on it, this is your tree to remember.
