Introducing Bandwidth, a new wind chamber group of UMass Amherst faculty. Featuring Cobus du Toit, flute; Romie de Guise-Langlois, clarinet; Jonathan Hulting-Cohen, saxophone; Joshua Michal, horn & Rémy Taghavi, bassoon; joined by UMass faculty cellist Edward Arron, Smith College faculty oboist Charles Huang, & graduate flutist Sarah Galgano.
Including world premieres by our own Salvatore Macchia: Glück, Anna Weesner: Places Where the Songs Go At Night and Ingrid Arauco: Sextet, as well as works by Jeff Scott: Startin' Sumthin' and Alvin Singleton: Sweet Chariot. Join us for an evocative kaleidoscope of sounds, styles, and inspirations.
