The Arctic Workshop (AWS 2024) is a small, friendly, and informal conference open to all students and professionals interested in high-latitude environments: past, present, and future. Although Quaternary history and paleoenvironmental research has traditionally been at the core of the AW, The range of topics includes a wide spectrum including Quaternary geology, studies of contemporary climate, earth surface processes, permafrost, atmospheric chemistry, glaciology, environmental geochemistry, archeology, hydrology, ecology, and oceanography. There may also be a session related to Antarctica and the processes that are common to both polar regions.

Icebreaker and Registration pick up Wed. March 13; Full day program Thurs and Friday March 14-15; Banquet Dinner Friday night and half day of morning sessions Saturday March 16th. No virtual programming, sorry.
