Applications to Compete Due: November 3rd

Closed-door Competition: November 17, 9 am-6 pm, Old Chapel

Have a idea for an innovative technology advancement or service, regardless of industry? Co-hosted by the Berthiaume Center for Entrepreneurship and the College of Engineering. The Tech Challenge is open to all UMass students and graduates of the last decade. Accepted Ventures will pitch their tech-based ideas in a closed-door competition to an expert panel of judges.

Qualifications and Requirements to Compete:

  • Applicants must have an idea for an innovative technology advancement or service, regardless of industry.
  • Prototypes and business models are welcomed and highly encouraged but not required to apply or compete in the Challenge.
  • Presentation slides are required for participation in the pitch.
  • Required pitching 101 bootcamp; November 12, 5-7 pm, Old Chapel

Technology Challenge Important Dates: 

  • Application Deadline: 11/03/25 by 5:00 pm
  • Required Pitch Camp: 11/12/25
  • Technology Challenge: 11/17/25 from 9:00 am -5:00 pm, Old Chapel
