Heather Stacchi

Heather Stacchi is the Senior Executive Director of Development, UMass Amherst Foundation, and Chief Development Officer at the College of Engineering. She brings more than 20 years of experience to the role and joins us after serving as the Assistant Vice President for Principal Gifts at Boston University. At BU, Heather was responsible for leading the strategy for the organization’s most highly rated prospects and partnered closely with university leaders and the SVP for Development and Alumni Relations. Previously, Heather served as the Regional Director for the West Coast at her undergraduate alma mater, Boston College, where she managed a team of frontline fundraisers and drove regional strategy for one of BC’s largest philanthropic markets. In addition to other major and annual giving roles at BC, Heather’s experience includes oversight of the frontline fundraising program and a comprehensive capital campaign as Executive Director of Advancement for St. Mark’s School, as well as leadership roles at Merrimack College and the non-profit organization REACH.
