Title: Empowering Consumer Choice in Hearing Healthcare

Assistant Professor of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences

Pronouns: she/her/hers

Clinically trained as an audiologist, Jasleen completed her Ph.D. at Syracuse University and postdoctoral fellowship at Northwestern University. Her programmatic line of research focuses on identifying and improving barriers to hearing aid use in both provider and consumer-driven models of hearing healthcare using a mixed-methods research approach. A pillar of her research program is to engage and collaborate with key stakeholders to implement solutions that are sensitive to the hearing healthcare needs of underserved communities. The long-term goal is to improve the rates of hearing aid use by engaging in research that will bridge the gap between research and clinical practice.
