Amplify Mentor Program (AMP)

AMP Up Your Career with the Amplify Mentor Program!

The Office of Career Planning manages the Amplify Mentor Program (AMP), a program open to undergraduate students in SPHHS who are interested in learning more about career and graduate school opportunities after graduation. By applying, you have the opportunity to connect with experienced alumni who will share their insights as you navigate your career journey.

Program Highlights:

  • Mentorship: Be matched with an alumni mentor who has successfully entered a career field of interest to you, providing valuable advice and guidance.
  • Workshops and Events: Participate in exclusive workshops focused on career development, resume building, and interview skills.
  • Networking: Build meaningful connections that can help with job opportunities and preparation.
  • New this year: Student mentees will have the opportunity to take the CliftonStrengths assessment and learn more about their Strengths!

How to Get Involved:

  • Apply: Complete and submit the Student Application by October 15, 2025.
  • Matching Process: You will be matched with an alumni mentor based on your interests and goals.
  • Engage and Learn: Attend professional development preparation sessions in the fall. Meet with your mentor regularly during the spring semester and beyond, either virtually or in-person.

We encourage SPHHS students from all backgrounds to apply. Our goal is to create a diverse and inclusive environment by tapping into the talent, generosity, and kindness of the students that came before you. You are not alone in your career journey and AMP is here to support you.

Don't miss out on this fantastic opportunity to learn from experienced alumni! If you have any questions, please contact Tracy Eason at taeason [at] umass [dot] edu.
