Academic Works Scholarships

SPHHS students are eligible for a wide array of scholarships and fellowships to support their career development. Your state, town, organizations at which you volunteer, and many other sources can offer assistance for you to further your study in a professional field or to gain valuable field experience.

The SPHHS Office of Career Planning offers a limited number of scholarships to fund unpaid internships. Academic Works  hosts all the scholarships available in one location and is an  excellent resource at UMass Amherst to explore a variety of funding options.

All undergraduate students who have filed a Free Application for Federal Student Aid  (FAFSA) form will be considered for numerous endowed and corporate-sponsored scholarships. Financial need may not be the only consideration for individual scholarships—grades, class standing, academic major, residency, and other factors may also be factored. Graduate students are often supported through assistantships and fellowships.

Additional information about UNDERGRADUATE scholarship can be found here  from the financial aid website.

Graduate Students

Loan, assistantships, teaching grants, federal work-study, summer aid and study abroad for GRADUATE students can be found here.
