Madalina Akli Joins Dean Robinson as CHC Faculty-in-Residence

Residential Life and the Commonwealth Honors College have announced that Madalina Akli, lecturer of international studies and director of the offices of National Scholarship Advisement and the International Scholars Program, has been selected to serve as Faculty-in-Residence in the Commonwealth Honors Residential Community for the 2023-24 academic year.

Akli will join political science professor Dean Robinson, who will return for a second year as Faculty-in-Residence.  

The Faculty in Residence program seeks faculty members who have interest in and ability to relate well with students and possess an abiding interest in their academic and personal learning. FIRs serve as positive and visible mentors to undergraduate students living in the residential community, facilitate student intellectual development and provide support to students in achieving their academic goals.
