A white building

Join us for an information session with representatives from the University of Edinburgh’s Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 7 in the Integrated Sciences Building, Room 221.

The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies is one of the oldest and most prestigious veterinary medical schools in the world, having been established by the veterinary surgeon William Dick in 1823.

Applying to the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies

In addition to the regular option of applying via VMCAS during their senior year, the University of Edinburgh is pleased to extend to UMass Amherst students the option of applying for early acceptance during their junior year.

Early acceptance is where a student in their junior year at UMass Amherst (studying on a Pre-Vet track) is invited to submit a free direct application to the University of Edinburgh’s four-year Veterinary Medicine Programme for entry post-graduation (i.e. in two years’ time).
