Distinguished Professor

Dean’s Office solicits nominations and CVs from department chairs for consideration.  If the Dean’s nominee is selected by the Provost’s Office to advance to the Board of Trustees, the Dean’s Office is tasked with collecting file materials from the nominee to support their nomination.  

The 2026 internal deadline to nominate will be announced in the fall of 2026.  The HFA nomination form for chairs will be found on the UMass InfoReady platform.
