Dean’s Office solicits nominations and CVs from department chairs for consideration.  If the Dean’s nominee is selected by the Provost’s Office to advance to the Board of Trustees, the Dean’s Office is tasked with collecting file materials from the nominee's department chair to support their nomination.  

The 2026 internal deadline to nominate is Thursday, October 15, 2026, 11:59 p.m. The HFA nomination form for chairs is available on the UMass InfoReady platform.
