Lilly Fellowship for Teaching Excellence
Lilly Fellowship for Teaching Excellence
The Fellowship enables promising early-career faculty to cultivate teaching skills and leadership in a special yearlong collaboration. Each year, up to eight teaching fellows are selected to work closely with the Center for Teaching & Learning on individual projects that typically involve developing or redesigning a course. Department chairs may submit up to two nominations. Nomination packages should be compiled into a single PDF and sent to the attention of Assistant Dean Kara Eich-Richardson at advising [at] hfa [dot] umass [dot] edu . The deadline to submit nominations to HFA will be established in the fall after the College's deadline is announced in early September 2026 by the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL).
