Mark your calendars and register for the WMA Health Equity Advocacy & Policy Showcase on Thursday, September 26th, 8:30-1pm at UMass Amherst.

Join us for reflection, education, networking and celebration! We have planned this special event to coincide with the 10th anniversary of the Western MA Health Equity Network, which began in Fall 2014 with the first Western MA Health Equity Summit. The event will recognize all the group's hard work and successes this past decade while looking forward to future work together.

The showcase will be open-house style - come when you can, leave when you must. There will be activities to:

  • Share advocacy efforts
  • Reflect on the wins
  • Discuss policy priorities
  • Connect with colleagues
  • Find new data sources
  • Meet new partners
  • Find & share inspiration

The event is intended for everyone interested in, or doing advocacy work to advance health equity in Western MA. It will also provide individuals and organizations with an opportunity ​to highlight their own work and learn about the work of neighbors, friends and colleagues.

Free and open to all! Refreshments will be provided.
