SPHHS Doctoral Students Receive Graduate School Awards

Seven doctoral students across four departments in the School of Public Health and Health Sciences are among the recipients of research grants awarded by the UMass Amherst Graduate School during the 2024-25 academic year. In announcing the awards, the Graduate School noted that more than $400,000 in grants and dissertation writing fellowships were provided to graduate students.
The award categories include Predissertation, Fieldwork, and Rapid Research grants, which provide funding for students to advance their doctoral work.
