UMass Amherst’s 51-credit PhD in environmental health sciences lets students apply multimodality methods in their research, utilize cutting-edge technologies, and contribute new findings to a rapidly changing field of study. Students in the PhD program will complete foundational coursework in environmental health sciences, with lots of room to select additional courses in their areas of interest. The entire program, including prospectus and dissertation research, is designed to be completed in four to six academic years (typically five).
