Exploratory Track Advising
SPHHS Exploratory Track students can expect to learn about the fields of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences, Nutrition, Kinesiology, and Public Health Sciences all while being supported with specialized advising as they explore majors and coursework beyond the School of Public Health and Health Sciences (SPHHS).
Exploratory Track (ET) advising will assist students with their consideration and ultimate declaration of a major based on their interests, eligibility, and academic proficiency. ET students must declare a primary major (one that leads to degree completion) no later than the registration period during their third full-time term (typically fall of sophomore year), after two graded full-time fall or spring semesters, at UMass Amherst.
Academic Success Advisors advise SPHHS Exploratory Track students on transitioning to college and choosing majors.
4+1 Advising
Academic Success Advisors also support students in SPHHS 4+1 accelerated master's programs. Whether you are interested in learning more about any of SPHHS 4+1 accelerated master's programs, are currently a senior who is beginning their accelerated master's journey, or are moving into your final year, Academic Success Advisors are here to help.
