Office of Equity and Inclusion Seeking Proposals for September JEDI Conference Workshops

The Office of Equity and Inclusion (OEI) is seeking proposals for workshops to take place associated with the Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (JEDI) Conference scheduled for September 13. The entire campus community is invited to participate in the conference, a series of educational and inspiring events, talks, panels, networking events and workshops dedicated to Belonging@UMass, which kicks off the 2023 academic year.

The main conference with keynote speakers will take place September 14 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. in the Student Union Ballroom, and OEI welcomes additional events and opportunities to add to the roster for the month of September.

The conference, hosted by OEI in collaboration with campus-wide partners, aspires to affirm the university’s commitment to equity and inclusion, create connections between new friends and colleagues, engage the university community with a wide variety of campus resources and demonstrate the university’s commitment to fostering a sense of belonging for all.
