New Campus Policy Library Website Launched
The university has launched a new Campus Policy Library website, a central repository that the UMass Amherst community can reference in their planning and daily work.
The launch reflects more than a year of work, reviewing and updating existing campus policies and developing the website. As members of the campus community create new policies or revise existing policies, they should draw upon the specific process detailed on the site. Additionally, any UMass Amherst site posting a policy should link directly to the version of that policy found on the Campus Policy Library to ensure that the most current policy is being shared.
Work on the policy library began in fall 2021, with the Chancellor’s Office convening a committee with campus wide representation. Led by Rolanda Burney, the chancellor’s chief of staff, the committee also included Emmanuel Adero, Office of Equity and Inclusion; Kirsten Britton, Athletics; Matthew Dalton, Information Technology; Debora Ferreira, General Counsel’s Office; Erik Gallant, University Relations; Amy Glynn, University Relations; Michelle Goncalves, Chancellor’s Office; Kevin Kerwood, Human Resources; Sara Littlecrow-Russell, Student Affairs and Campus Life; David Markland, Advancement; Hal Marshall, University Relations; Tony Paik, Faculty Senate; Ian Raphael, Research; and Ruth Yanka, Administration and Finance.
