The campus community is invited to come together to contemplate our shared values, celebrate our common humanity, and inspire collective action to create a more just and equitable world at the University of Massachusetts Amherst National Day of Racial Healing Community Brunch, Tuesday, Jan. 16 at 9a.m. in the Student Union Ballroom.

The featured speaker for the event will be author, activist and jazz singer LaTosha Brown. Brown is a contributor to The New York Times and a senior practice fellow at the Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government. Brown is the Co-Founder of Black Voters Matter Fund and Black Voters Matter Capacity Building Institute, designed to boost Black voter registration and turnout, as well as increase power in marginalized, predominantly Black communities.

Free parking will be available in the Campus Center Garage.
