Lilly Fellowship for Teaching Excellence
Lilly Fellowship for Teaching Excellence
The Fellowship enables promising early-career faculty to cultivate teaching skills and leadership in a special yearlong collaboration. Each year, up to eight teaching fellows are selected to work closely with the Center for Teaching & Learning on individual projects that typically involve developing or redesigning a course. Department chairs may submit up to two nominations. Nomination packages should be compiled into a single PDF and sent to the attention of Assistant Dean Kara Eich-Richardson at advising [at] hfa [dot] umass [dot] edu by Wednesday, December 10, 2025, 5 PM Eastern
