Judi Bruno LaBranche Named 2026-27 Commonwealth Honors College Faculty-in-Residence

Judi Bruno LaBranche, senior lecturer II in kinesiology, has been selected to serve as Faculty-in-Residence (FiR) in the Commonwealth Honors Residential Community for the 2026-27 academic year.
LaBranche joins Eve Weinbaum, professor of sociology and labor studies, who will return for a second year as Faculty-in-Residence.
Organized by Residential Life and the Commonwealth Honors College, the Faculty in Residence program seeks faculty members who have interest in and ability to relate well with students and possess an abiding interest in their academic and personal learning.
FIRs serve as positive and visible mentors to undergraduate students living in the residential community, facilitate student intellectual development and provide support to students in achieving their academic goals.
