Hearing Healthcare Lab Seeks Participants for Paid Research Study

The UMass Amherst Advancing Research in Hearing Healthcare Lab is currently recruiting adults aged 40 and older to participate in a study on over-the-counter (OTC) hearing aids. The research aims to gather feedback on the effectiveness of product information labels to better understand how consumers make decisions when purchasing hearing devices.

Participants will complete one 90-minute session in the lab and will receive $50 for their time. The study is ideal for individuals interested in trying or helping someone else purchase OTC hearing aids.
