Personal statement for the MPHN program:
In 500 to 1,000 words (one to two pages), please address the following three questions:
- Describe why it is you want to pursue an MPH in nutrition. Where do you see yourself upon completion of a graduate degree? Are there particular program features or experiences you are seeking through this program?
- The University of Massachusetts Amherst upholds a mission to support diversity, equity, and inclusion. The MPH in nutrition requires a practicum experience in which students work with community members in various health care, public health, and nutrition care settings. How do you feel that you can honor diversity, equity, and inclusion in such spaces as a future practicum?
