Career Advising for Alumni

The CNS Career Center works to support alumni in the job market. We offer access to different resources and advising appointments, depending on your specific needs.

• Recent alumni (from the last graduating class) should still be able to make an appointment with a career advisor through Handshake. 
• If you are a less recent graduate, or if you just can't make an appointment through Handshake for any reason, you can email us at careercentercns [at] umass [dot] edu (careercentercns[at]umass[dot]edu) to inquire about an appointment. 
• Note that at busy times during the academic year we have to prioritize appointments for current students, and so appointments for alumni may not be immediately available. 

Alumni also have access to all of the helpful information and resources located on this site, and you are able to use Handshake to search for jobs. If you have lost access to Handshake, we can help you fix that, just email us and let us know.

UMass Amherst alumni also have lifetime access to Handshake, our university job board, as well as to the full range of career development services provided by the Alumni Association.
