Student Spotlight: Ashly Cardona
Ashly saw the lack of diversity in the mental health field especially with the Latino community and was determined to expand representation. She aspires to become a child and adolescent therapist.
Ashly has worked as a paraprofessional for Boston Public Schools and currently works as a communications assistant for the College of Natural Sciences, helping out with the CNS social media platforms. She loves being a CNS student because of the supportive community.
She says that one of her favorite parts about the College of Natural Science is that it is filled with diversity! Some advice Ashly has for psychology students is to have an open mind to the many branches in psychology and find the one that suits you.
