An evening of connection and understanding around the intersectional nature of climate change

Photography and videography is prohibited at this event.

On Thursday, Feb. 29, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. in the Student Union Ballroom, Vice Chair of the White House Environmental Justice Advisory Council Catherine Coleman Flowers delivers a keynote address as part of the College of Humanities & Fine Arts (HFA) Black History Month celebration

A cross-campus collaboration, the talk will highlight the intersectional nature of climate change by centering racial, economic and health inequities as they relate to our changing planet.

Associate Dean Cara Takakjian will provide a welcome; Dean Joye Bowman will provide an introduction; and Malcolm Sen, associate professor in the Department of English, will moderate the Q&A.
