The Collaborative Teacher Education Pathway/Elementary 4+1 Pathway is for UMass undergraduate students who know they want to become an elementary school teacher in Massachusetts. This option allows students who have completed or are working to complete the prerequisite coursework to apply for graduate school early and complete up to 9 credits of coursework toward their master's degree as an undergraduate.
