Giving and Support
Your support matters.
Holistic teaching, collaborative research, community engagement, and a focus on creating a socially just world are what sets the UMass Amherst College of Education apart. Our faculty and student researchers are practice-oriented, rolling up their sleeves in local communities helping students and teachers from vulnerable groups achieve success.
When you invest in the UMass Amherst College of Education, you help to prepare imaginative educators with a passion for social justice, advance education in Massachusetts, develop innovative education models for the nation and the world, and provide for the communities we serve.
Your support enables us to:
- Provide scholarships to talented students—tomorrow’s teachers and administrators, school psychologists and counselors, college deans and presidents, directors of national and international organizations, policymakers, and government leaders.
- Attract and retain exceptional faculty members whose research improves educational systems in our local communities and around the world, and whose mentorship fosters the next generation of educational professionals.
- Promote excellence and equity in public education through influential partnerships in culturally and linguistically diverse communities.
- Create environments that nurture collaboration, groundbreaking research, and opportunities for intellectual growth.
