Alisha McBeath

Alisha McBeath is the Senior Academic & Career Advisor in the Student Success and Engagement Department in the College of Education.

Originally from British Columbia, Canada, Alisha holds a BA in Education from Simon Fraser University and an MA in Education and Communications from Royal Roads University.

Before joining the College of Education’s advising team, Alisha worked at UMass in the College of Engineering Career Center and in the Office of Global Affairs. She was also an elementary school teacher for 12 years and taught all around the world: Grenoble, Vancouver, London, Los Angeles, and Northampton. She is passionate about supporting students and helping them achieve their academic, professional, and personal goals.

Outside of work, Alisha enjoys cycling, reading, vegan baking and walking her dog, Chester.
