Researchers Seek Participants for Study Examining Field of View Restrictions in Head-Mounted Displays

Researchers in the Departments of Kinesiology and Electrical and Computer Engineering are recruiting healthy adults (ages 18–40) for a research study that examines how field of view restrictions in head-mounted displays influences the way people move their eyes, head, and body while searching for targets.
Details
- Duration: ~2 hours, scheduled at your convenience
- Location: Center for Human Health & Performance, Life Science Laboratories
- Activities: Perform a visual search task in VR while we record your movements and other physiological data (e.g., heart rate).
- Eligibility: 18–40 yrs, normal vision, good physical health, no visual impairments, no diagnosed neurological/neuromuscular conditions.
- Compensation: $40 cash
