Community health education alumna Talore Gray '17 MPH has been selected as a 2026 Aspen Ideas Fellow. The Aspen Ideas Fellows Program is an initiative that brings nearly 300 forward-thinking young leaders to the Aspen Ideas Festival and Aspen Ideas: Health each June. These individuals are hand-selected for their exceptional achievements, groundbreaking work and ability to turn ideas into action.
Gray, who completed her DrPH degree this month from Tulane University's Celia Scott Weatherhead School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, will join professionals from myriad fields, such as nonprofit leaders, scientists, educators, healthcare professionals, and private sector innovators, at the event being held in Aspen, Colorado, from June 22-25, 2026. Gray and her peers will bring forward innovative solutions to the complex problems discussed at the event and join a vast network of past Fellows whose big ideas are making the world a better place.
The Fellows Program provides full funding for these action-oriented leaders to attend Aspen Ideas and network with their cohort of Fellows as well as attendees and speakers.
"Through my participation as an Aspen Ideas Health Fellow, I am looking forward to being in the room with other thought partners and innovators in the health field that have too taken on the task of interrogating the status quo to ensure that communities have equitable access to just and inclusive health care and services,” says Gray in an article appearing on the Tulane University website. “This isn't and shouldn't be done in a vacuum but collectively as a field and in partnership with communities we support.”
