SPHHS Students Receive Gerald F. Scanlon Student Employee of the Year Awards
Three SPHHS majors were among the 10 UMass Amherst students who received the honor.

SPHHS students Monique Baxley, Autumn Reynolds, and Elena Schell are among the 10 UMass student employees named winners of the 2024 Gerald F. Scanlon Student Employees of the Year Award. Public health majors Baxley and Reynolds were recognized for their work with Residential Life and the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, respectively, while Schell, a kinesiology major, was recognized for her work with New Student Orientations and Transitions.
Instituted in the 1987-88 academic year, the award honors students who have demonstrated exceptional performance by contributing their time and skills to help the university achieve its goals and objectives.
