A Master of Public Health degree is offered through the UMass Amherst School of Public Health and Health Sciences and the UMass Chan Medical School – Worcester campus. Online courses are offered through the UMass Amherst Public Health Practice degree program. Students in the Worcester program are assigned an advisor from the medical school faculty and work with this advisor in the planning of both their practicum and final projects.

 

The program is also open to working professionals interested in individual courses but not a full degree.

Program Highlights

  • Courses are offered online in conjunction with UMass Amherst MPH in Public Health Practice.
  • On-campus courses, student admissions, student advising, practicum course placements, and final projects are managed by faculty and staff of the UMass Medical School.
  • All online courses are offered and managed by the UMass Amherst School of Public Health and Health Sciences Office of Professional Programs.
  • All students are assigned a faculty advisor upon admissions.
