About

The UMass SPHHS launched our fully online graduate certificate in global health in the fall of 2015. The certificate is aimed at working public health professionals, interested in moving their focus to the international public health stage. The certificate is one of the few that does not require students to be admitted to a full MPH or PhD program. It is open to any working professional needing to improve their knowledge of issues and policies in global public health.

Program Highlights

  • 100% online with no residency requirements. Students do not have to come to campus.
  • Flexible to seamlessly fit into your busy life.
    • Asynchronous courses—you do not have to be online at any scheduled time. Log in when you get the time!
    • Take as little as one course per term or as many as three.
    • Taking time off is easy.
  • Rolling admissions.  We accept admissions at any time and students can begin the program in spring, summer or fall semesters.
  • Fully accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) and by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH) and member of ASPPH
