A photo of historic ruins of Athens, Greece with the words "Food, Culture & Health in Greece"

Join us on Wednesday, September 9th, in SPHHS Hub room 213 and learn how you can spend your winter soaking up the sun in Greece while you study at the brand-new modern Athens campus of the University of Nicosia!

Led by Dean Siega-Riz and Associate Dean DiFulvio, Food, Culture, Health, and Sustainability is a 4-credit Honors course offered to any major.

This UMass faculty-led study abroad program is a once-in-a lifetime opportunity to explore the relationship between food, culture, health, and sustainability in an international and multicultural environment. In addition to your UMass coursework, you will learn from local guest lecturers, join guided excursions to cultural and historical sites, visit local clinics and hospitals, and participate in local cooking, dance, and yoga opportunities.
