Robert Gallotto
Robert Gallotto

Robert Gallotto is the founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of Anagram Therapeutics. With 35 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, he has dedicated his career to building companies focusing on cystic fibrosis and other rare diseases.  

Before joining Anagram, Mr. Gallotto co-founded and served as President of Alcresta Therapeutics, where he led the company from inception to the successful launch of RELiZORB. This innovative medical device earned the 2016 Medical Device Design Excellence Gold Medal Award. He has worked closely with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation for two decades and is the inventor of multiple patents.  

In addition, he co-founded and served as Chief Operating Officer of Allena Pharmaceuticals. Before that, he was Chief Business Officer at Alnara Pharmaceuticals until its acquisition by Eli Lilly. He also held leadership roles at Altus Pharmaceuticals, serving as Vice President of strategic planning, business, and commercial development. Earlier in his career, he held sales, marketing, business development, and product management positions at Biogen, Ares-Serono, Sage BioPharma, and The Upjohn Company.  

Mr. Gallotto holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Stonehill College.
