Dietetic Internship Accreditation Status

The Dietetic Internship at the University of Massachusetts Amherst is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. The ACEND accreditation review cycle is every five years. The DPD and DI programs at UMass Amherst are currently accredited through 2023. In order to successfully complete the UMass Amherst Dietetic Internship, interns are expected to meet all the specific competencies established by ACEND for each rotation.
