Viara Ivanova

Viara is a senior Public Health Sciences major on the Pre-PA track. She is currently involved with UMass EMS as an EMT, a TA for Anatomy & Physiology 1 lab, volunteering in the Amherst community, and is an SPHHS Student Ambassador. Previously, she has been a TA for SPHHS150, an introductory course required for all Public Health students. Last semester, she studied abroad in Florence, Italy!

One piece of advice Viara has for incoming students is,

“Try everything at least once! UMass has countless opportunities to get involved in clubs, mentorship, and interest groups! There is something for everyone!”
