Tanya Wadekar

Tanya is a senior Public Health Sciences major and Information Technology minor on the Pre-Medical track. She is currently involved in the Moove and Snooze Lab in the department of Kinesiology and volunteering in the Emergency Room at Baystate Wing Hospital in Palmer. She is also a third-time UCA for Public Health 160 and is a SPHHS Student Ambassador. Previously, she has been involved with the professional MED fraternity and studied abroad in Barcelona. 

One piece of advice that Tanya has for incoming students is:

“College is a fresh start and UMass has something for everyone! Try new things, join clubs, and put yourself out there!”
